Imagine delicious curd buns with raisins and sour cranberries. The beautiful yellow dough literally melts in your mouth. Serve pastries with herbal tea, cocoa, milk, aromatic coffee or fruit jelly.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 300 g
- Flour - 250 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Baking powder dough - 2 tsp.
- Cranberries - 150 g
- Raisins - 150 g
- Vanilla Essence - 2 drops
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Salt - 0,25 tsp.
- Egg yolks (for lubrication) – 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the raisins, pour boiling water and cover for 15 minutes.
Drain the water, put the raisins on a paper towel and dry.
Wash the cranberries under running water and dry them with a paper towel.
Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or grind it in a blender.
Beat the chicken egg with sugar and salt until fluffy foam.
Sift flour into a wide bowl, add baking powder, cottage cheese, beaten egg and vanilla.
Knead the soft dough. Add the raisins, cranberries and mix again.
Cover the dough with a towel and put it away for 1 hour in a warm place.
Divide the dough into 10 identical pieces, form round balls and place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
Leave the buns to grow in a warm place for half an hour.
Brush the top with egg yolk and bake for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
Remove the finished pastries from the oven, sprinkle with water and cover with a towel for 15 minutes.
