Are you going to bake a charlotte, but have you run out of eggs? It doesn't matter, you can cook a delicious pie without them. Thanks to kefir and baking powder, the dough turns out to be airy. I share a proven recipe that has helped me out many times in similar situations.
Ingredients
- Apples - 400 g
- Flour - 220 g
- Semolina - 4 tbsp.l .
- Kefir - 1 glass
- Baking powder dough - 1 tsp.
- Vanilla Essence - 1 drop
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Salt - 0,25 tsp.
- Butter - 30 g
- Olive oil (for lubrication) – 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix warm kefir with semolina and leave for 15 minutes so that the cereal has time to swell.
Add the melted butter, salt, sugar, vanilla essence and flour mixed with baking powder.
Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.
Pour the apple slices into the dough and mix gently.
Grease the mold with olive oil, lay out the dough and smooth it out.
Bake the charlotte for 30-35 minutes in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees.
