Did you know that charlottes can be unsweetened? I share the recipe of my favorite charlotte with cabbage and cheese. Different types of cabbage are suitable - take the one that you like best. This perfect snack or a hearty snack will undoubtedly appeal to your household.
Ingredients
- Flour - 9 tbsp.l.
- Chicken eggs - 4 pcs.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Baking powder dough - 2 tsp.
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Cabbage - 800 g
- Onion - 2 pcs.
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Cheese - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Prepare the cabbage: chop, remember with your hands with salt, simmer together with chopped onions in a frying pan under a lid for 10-15 minutes. Add garlic, ground pepper to taste.
Beat eggs with salt and sugar, add sifted flour and baking powder, mix until smooth.
Combine the dough with cabbage and put it in a greased form. Bake the charlotte with cabbage in a preheated 190 °C oven for 35-45 minutes until golden brown.
10 minutes before cooking, sprinkle the pie with grated cheese.
