In my family, everyone loves pickle, so it is prepared often. I have already tried a lot of recipes. It turns out very tasty with melted cheese. Given the wide range of dairy products, experiments in this direction can be endless.
Ingredients
- Pearl barley - 100 g
- Cucumbers (salty) – 2 pieces
- Processed cheese (55% fat content) – 2 pieces
- Potatoes - 250 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Butter - 50 g
- Black Pepper - 3 peas
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken broth - 1,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the pearl barley, pour it into a saucepan and pour chicken broth.
Add black pepper and cook for 40 minutes over low heat.
Peel and slice potatoes and onions.
Grate cucumbers and carrots on a coarse grater.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the onion and carrot and fry until golden brown.
Pour potatoes, cucumbers and roast into a saucepan with pearl barley. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add melted cheese, salt and turn off after 5 minutes. Insist the pickle under the lid for 15-20 minutes.
