I'm telling you how to cook a thick and rich pea soup in a slow cooker! It's even easier than in a pot, because you don't have to keep track of time and processes. And the aroma of the finished dish is simply impossible to resist.
Ingredients
- Peas - 300 g
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Smoked meat - 300 g
- Water - 1.5 l
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the peas for a couple of hours, put them in a slow cooker, fill with water and cook for 30 minutes in the soup mode.
Arbitrarily chop all the other ingredients, send them to the slow cooker and cook at the same mode for the same amount.
Season the soup and cook for another 10 minutes.
Drain about a quarter of the soup, chop it with a blender and return it back. Mix it up.
