Have you ever cooked a shortbread charlotte? Try this recipe and you won't want to go back to the classic version anymore! Fragrant apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is the pinnacle of gastronomic delight!

Ingredients

For Dough:
  • Flour - 250 g
  • Butter - 150 g
  • Egg yolks - 1 piece
  • Milk (cold) – 3 tbsp.l .
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp.l.
  • Salt - at the tip of the knife

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Grate the butter or chop it with a knife.

Add flour, sugar, salt and rub the mass with your hands until fine crumbs.

Add the yolks, milk and knead a smooth dough. Sprinkle with flour, cover with cling film and put in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Peel the apples, seeds and finely chop them.

Mix the apples with powdered sugar and ground cinnamon.

Divide the dough in half. From the first part, roll out the cake according to the diameter of the mold, taking into account the height of the sides.

Cover the form with parchment paper, sprinkle with flour and lay out the cake.

Spread out the apple filling evenly.

Roll out the rest of the dough into a cake and put it on top, leaving a small depression. Pinch the edges tightly.

Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees.

Cool the finished cake, sprinkle with almond petals and powdered sugar.
