At Christmas, I want to set the table in a special way: pick up the original decor, cook traditional treats and, of course, bake the same cupcake with cranberries. I am sure that many, like me, associate it with home comfort, warmth and prosperity.
Ingredients
- Flour - 380 g
- Butter - 260 g
- Chicken eggs - 5 pieces
- Raisins - 200 g
- Baking powder dough - 1 tsp.
- Vanillin - on the tip of the knife
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Salt - to taste
- Powdered sugar - 1 art.l.
- Almond petals - 1 tbsp.l.
- Cranberries - handful
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the butter into cubes and heat it in a water bath until soft.
Wash the raisins, pour boiling water for 15 minutes and cover with a lid.
Drain the water, put the raisins on a paper towel and dry.
In a wide bowl, mix the soft butter, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat with a mixer until fluffy.
Without stopping the mixer, add one egg at a time. The dough should be homogeneous and shiny.
Mix the raisins with 1 tbsp flour and also pour into the dough. If you pour raisins just like that, it will settle to the bottom.
Add the sifted flour, baking powder and mix well. The consistency of thick sour cream should be obtained.
Put the dough in a silicone mold and send it to a preheated 160 degree oven for 60-80 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer.
Remove the finished cupcake from the oven and place it on a platter. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, almond petals and cranberries.
