Unfortunately, the melon season is very short. I propose to extend it and prepare a delicious winter preparation from an appetizing pumpkin. Melon in its own juice turns out to be beautiful, fragrant and moderately sweet. The whole process will take no more than 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- Melon - 2 kg
- Sugar - 600 g
- Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the washed melon in half and peel it, select the seeds with a spoon.
Cut the melon pulp into small pieces, cover with sugar and leave for 3 hours at room temperature.
Put the pan on low heat and bring to a boil.
Add citric acid, stir and boil for 5 minutes. Do not forget to remove the foam in the process.
Put the hot jam in jars, roll it up and leave it warm for a day.
