It's hard to find something more versatile among sweet preparations than prune jam. It goes well with pancakes, pancakes, cheesecakes, yogurt and ice cream. This is a ready-made filling for pies and pies. It can even be served with grilled meat.

Ingredients

  • Prunes - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 800 g
  • Water - 120 ml
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Remove the seeds from the prunes.

Add water and sugar, bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes.

Chop the jam with a blender.

Bring to a boil again and boil for 10 minutes.

Add citric acid and roll it into sterilized jars.
