Despite the fact that elderberry is not widespread in all regions, I still try, if possible, to prepare several jars of such fragrant jam. Try it at least once, and you will definitely have no questions why.

Ingredients

  • Elderberry - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.
  • Water - 0.3 glasses

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the elderberry from the twigs, sort, cover with sugar, add water and citric acid.

Bring everything to a boil and cook for 30-40 minutes on low heat.

Roll the elderberry jam into sterile jars.
