Rose petal jam – sounds very complicated and almost unbelievable. But in fact, it is not at all difficult to prepare. The most difficult thing here is to find good petals. But the owners of their own garden or cottage usually do not have such a problem.
Ingredients
- Rose Petals - 500 g
- Sugar - 500 g
- Water - 250 ml
- Orange - 1 piece
- Rosemary - 2 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash, sort and dry the rose petals.
Boil water with sugar and boil until dissolved.
Gradually add the petals and cook the jam for about 40 minutes, stirring.
Add the peeled orange and rosemary sprigs crushed in a blender, and cook for another 20 minutes.
Remove the rosemary and roll the jam into sterile jars.
