Bright and sunny yellow cherry plum is another great base for jam. And today I will tell you how to cook it properly. It will turn out to be moderately sweet, with a slight sourness – just perfect for stuffing, pancakes or just a cup of strong tea.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Remove the seeds from the cherry plum and cut it arbitrarily.

Boil water with sugar until dissolved and pour the cherry plum syrup. Leave it on for 4 hours.

Drain the syrup, boil for another 15 minutes and pour the cherry plum again for 4 hours.

Bring everything together to a boil, boil for 7 minutes and roll the jam into sterile jars.
