“Plum in chocolate” with cocoa for winter
I have already shared with you the recipe for jam “Cherry in chocolate". I propose to prepare a similar delicacy from plums - original, moderately sour, with a pronounced chocolate aftertaste. In order to save money, we will replace chocolate with cocoa powder. It turns out very tasty!
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the plums, divide into halves and remove the bones. Cut the pulp into slices.
Combine cocoa and sugar.
Pour water into a saucepan, add the cocoa-sugar mixture. Over low heat, stirring, bring the mass to a boil.
Place the prepared pieces of plums in the boiling syrup, mix and bring to a boil again. Boil the jam over low heat, stirring and removing the foam, for 1 hour.
Pour boiling jam into pre-sterilized jars, seal tightly, turn upside down, wrap and cool. Store the cooled Plum jam in chocolate in a cool dark place.
