Ingredients
- Chicken - 300 g
- Smoked chicken - 200 g
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Beetroot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Cabbage - 150 g
- Tomato paste - 1.5 tbsp.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour fresh chicken with water and boil for half an hour.
Add the sliced potatoes and cabbage.
Chop the onion, grate the beets and carrots, and fry everything together for 5 minutes.
Add tomato paste, spices and 150 ml of broth, and simmer under the lid for another 10 minutes.
Put the fried and chopped smoked chicken in a saucepan. Cook for another 10 minutes and let the borscht brew.
