Pumpkin jam in its pure form may not appeal to everyone. The vegetable taste is too distinct for dessert. But it is worth adding a little fruit – and the situation immediately plays with new colors. For example, it is simply impossible to refuse such a treat with oranges.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin - 1 kg
  • Orange - 500 g
  • Sugar - 500 g
  • Spices and seasonings (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg) – 1 tbsp.l .
  • Water - 0.5 glasses
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the pumpkin into small cubes, cover with sugar and leave for half an hour.

Squeeze the juice out of the oranges and add a little zest. Pour over the pumpkin.

Add water and spices, bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes over medium heat, stirring.

Add citric acid and roll the jam into sterile jars.
