Spicy spicy cucumbers are a great snack for any dish. I often add them to sandwiches, salads, or just eat them as a snack. They go well with meat dishes and will decorate any feast. I share one of my favorite recipes, how best to salt them.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 1.5 kg
- Water - 1 l
- Garlic - 1 head
- Chili pepper - 3 pieces
- Mustard Seeds - 2 art.l.
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tbsp.l.
- Bay leaf - 4 pieces
- Carnation - 4 bud
- Mustard powder - 1 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Salt - 1 art.l.
- Vinegar - 30 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak cucumbers for a couple of hours in cold water.
Put them in clean jars. Add chili, garlic and all spices except mustard powder.
Pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes under the lids.
Drain this water, boil it again and pour it in for another 10 minutes.
Drain again. Add sugar, salt, pepper and mustard powder.
Bring the marinade to a boil, pour in the vinegar and pour over the cucumbers.
Roll up the jars for the winter.
