Canned compotes are prepared many times faster and easier than jam. So if you don't like to spend a lot of time at the stove, and wait a long time for the mass to cool down, and then heat up again, and so on in a circle – this is your option. I share a recipe from peaches.

Ingredients

  • Peaches - 1 kg
  • Water - 2 l
  • Sugar - 1.5 glasses
  • Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the peaches into slices and put them in sterile jars.

Add sugar and citric acid.

Pour boiling water over the peaches and roll up the jars.
