It pleases me every time when it is possible to preserve the taste and benefits of seasonal berries for the winter. Especially in such original versions. For example, my favorite recipe from lingonberries is this sauce with spices. It goes well with meat, cheese and even desserts.
Ingredients
- Lingonberries - 120 g
- Water - 100 ml
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l .
- Hops-suneli - 0.5 tsp.
- Carnation - 2 bud
- Dried chili pepper - 1 g
- Salt - 3 g
- Wine vinegar - 30 ml
- Ground black pepper - 1 g
- Juniper - 3 pieces
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mash the lingonberries with a pusher.
Add water and boil for 5 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients, except vinegar, and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Add vinegar and roll the sauce into a sterile jar.
