For this recipe, you can even use crumpled, overripe and frozen berries. During the cooking process, they are ground through a sieve and turn into a homogeneous mass. Blueberry jelly is stored in the refrigerator or a cool pantry.
Ingredients
- Blueberries - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 400 ml
- Gelatin - 70 g
- Lemon juice - 3 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pick blueberries and rinse under running water.
Pour the berries into a saucepan with water and boil over low heat for 5-7 minutes.
Choose berries with a slotted spoon, cool and wipe through a sieve. It is convenient to use a wooden spoon for this.
Select a glass of the remaining broth, cool it, pour gelatin over it and remove it for 10 minutes to the side.
Mix the berry puree with sugar and boil for 5 minutes after boiling.
Add the gelatin blank and lemon juice. Stir and remove from the heat immediately.
Spread the hot jelly on clean, dry jars, close the lids and wrap up for a day with a warm blanket.
