Often the thorn is unfairly deprived of attention, being distracted by other fruits and berries. Nevertheless, there is nothing to compare its tart sour taste with. I propose to correct the situation and make a five-minute jam from the thorn.

Rinse the thorn thoroughly under running water. Use a knife to remove the bones.

Put the sloe in a saucepan, cover with sugar and leave for 4 hours at room temperature.

Put the pan on low heat, boil for 7 minutes after boiling and remove to cool at room temperature for 4-5 hours.

Put the pan back on the fire and cook for 7 minutes. Put it in the prepared container, close the lids and wrap it with a warm blanket for a day.
