Excellent preparation for the winter! It can be served as a side dish to the main dish, added to soups and stews. In addition, ready—made carrots with onions are very convenient. Just open the jar and don't waste time working with vegetables.


  • Carrots - 1 kg
  • Onion - 400 g
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Vinegar - 3 tbsp.l .
  • Vegetable oil - 60 ml
  • Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
  • Salt - 35 g
  • Water - 500 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Grate carrots, peel onions and finely chop.

Boil water in a deep saucepan.

Add salt, black pepper, garlic passed through the press, oil and vegetables.

Simmer for 40 minutes.

Pour in the vinegar, remove from the heat and place in the prepared jars. Roll up and wrap up with a thick towel.
