Ingredients
- Plums - 1 kg
- Sugar - 400 g
- Bitter chocolate - 80 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the plums, divide into halves and remove the bones.
Place the plum halves in a cooking bowl, add sugar, mix gently. Cover the bowl with the blank with a lid and leave at room temperature for 5-6 hours so that the plums let the juice.
Then put the bowl with the workpiece on a slow fire, bring to a boil and, stirring occasionally and removing the foam, boil for 20-30 minutes. Remove the jam from the heat and cool slightly.
Wipe the plum mass through a sieve. You should get a beautiful homogeneous puree.
Add slices of dark chocolate to the plum puree, bring the billet to a boil over low heat and cook for another 10 minutes.
Pour boiling jam into pre-sterilized jars and immediately seal tightly. Cool the workpiece and send it for storage in a cool dark place.
