Ingredients
- Red cabbage - 3 kg
- Vinegar - 120 ml
- Peppers mixture - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 80 g
- Salt - 60 g
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the red cabbage into thin strips.
Place in a wide bowl and mash with your hands.
Tamp the cabbage into the prepared jars.
Boil water, add sugar, salt and pepper mixture.
Boil for 1 minute, pour in the vinegar and immediately remove from heat.
Pour the boiling marinade into jars and leave in a warm place for 2 days.
Close the jars with nylon lids and transfer to a dark, cool place. After 5-7 days, the pickled red cabbage will be ready.
