The best way to prepare cherries for the winter is to roll up delicious compote from it. It's both simple, fast and very tasty. I want to share with you a proven recipe that never explodes and is perfectly stored all season.

Ingredients

  • Cherry - 1 kg
  • Water - 1 l
  • Sugar - 200 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Rinse the cherries and arrange them tightly in jars.

Pour boiling water over the cherries, leave for 10 minutes and drain the water into a saucepan.

Add sugar to it, boil again, boil for 2 minutes and pour back into the jars.

Roll up the compote for the winter.
