This jam is a real culinary masterpiece! I use only the ripest black plums, which I carefully cut into slices and remove the bones. When the jam is cooked, it turns out thick and rich, ideal for use in baking.

Ingredients

  • Plums (black) – 1.5 kg
  • Sugar - 1 kg

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Remove the seeds from the plums and cut the fruit into slices.

Cover with sugar and leave for 2-3 hours or overnight.

Bring the jam to a boil and cook for 15 minutes on low heat. Let it cool down.

Repeat the previous step.

Boil the jam for 15 minutes for the third time and immediately roll it into sterile jars.
