Only the same compote with honey can be more useful than the usual canned apricot compote. But still, I would advise not to remove sugar completely, because in this case it is not only a sweetener, but also a preservative.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Disassemble the apricots into halves and put them in sterile jars.
Pour boiling water, leave for 10 minutes under the lid, drain this water and boil again.
Repeat the previous step completely.
In boiling water, dissolve sugar, honey and citric acid. Pour the apricots a third time and roll up.
