One of the most original and unusual preparations for the winter is dry jam. In a sense, it's something like candied fruits, only the technology is a little different. I share a good recipe from plums. Store such jam in hermetically sealed dry and clean glass jars.
Ingredients
- Plums - 500 g
- Sugar - 120 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the bones from the plums and put the halves in a baking dish with a slice up.
Sprinkle each half with sugar.
Put the plums in the oven for half an hour at 200 degrees.
Transfer to a dry form or on a baking sheet.
Dry the plums in a slightly open oven on low heat for another 3-4 hours.
For long storage, pour sugar over the plums in jars.
