One of my favorite ways to make unusual jams is mixing ingredients by color. The method never fails! And a clear confirmation of this is such a wonderful jam made of pumpkin, oranges and sea buckthorn.
Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 1 kg
- Sea buckthorn - 1 kg
- Orange - 1 kg
- Water - 100 ml
- Sugar - 2.5 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate the peeled pumpkin on a grater, rinse the sea buckthorn, and peel the orange from all the films.
Cover everything with sugar and leave for an hour.
Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring.
Let the mass cool down and repeat the previous step twice more.
Before the last third heating, rub the jam through a sieve.
Roll it up in sterile jars for the winter.
