Vinegar has run out, and you don't want to run to the store for it? You can also cook crispy pickled cucumbers with citric acid. At the same time, the vegetables are still delicious, moderately sour and salty. I tell you the recipe in detail.

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers - 3 kg
  • Dill - 6 umbrellas
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.
  • Sugar (without slide) – 4 tbsp.l.
  • Salt (without slide) – 4 art.l.
  • Water - 2,7 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the cucumbers, cut off the edges and soak for 2 hours in cold water.

Place dill umbrellas on the bottom of the prepared jars.

Tamp the cucumbers tightly, trying to leave fewer voids in the jars.

Pour boiling water, cover with lids and leave for half an hour.

Drain the water into a saucepan, boil it again and pour it into jars.

After half an hour, drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, salt and citric acid.

Boil for 2 minutes, pour into jars and roll up.
