Pear jam is a very tasty and healthy jam that can be used not only as a dessert, but also as an additive to meat dishes. I add some chopped walnuts to give it a richer taste and texture.

Ingredients

  • Pear - 1.2 kg
  • Water - 120 ml
  • Sugar - 800 g
  • Walnuts - 100 g
  • Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel and slice the pears.

Add water and sugar, bring everything to a boil and boil for 15 minutes on low heat.

Dry the nuts in a dry frying pan and chop.

Add nuts and spices to the jam to taste.

Boil for another 15-20 minutes and roll into sterile jars.
