Tomato juice is a mandatory preparation for the winter. Of course, you can easily buy it in any store, but homemade is definitely tastier and healthier. Today I will share a simple recipe for tomato juice made with a meat grinder.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 5 kg
  • Black Pepper (peas) – 6 pcs.
  • Bay leaf - 3 pcs.
  • Carnation (optional) – 3 pcs.
  • Salt - to taste

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash tomatoes, cut into pieces, remove the middle and green parts, then pass through a meat grinder.

Put a bowl of tomato mass on the fire, bring to a boil, removing the foam.

When the mass becomes homogeneous, add spices and cook over medium heat for 20-30 minutes. If the tomatoes were too watery, you may have to increase the cooking time.

Pour the hot tomato juice into sterile jars, seal tightly and cool.
