Cucumber and bell pepper salad for winter without sterilization
At the end of August, the price of vegetables becomes lower, which means it's time to engage in canning. I recommend definitely closing a couple of jars of cucumber and bell pepper salad. You can cook it even without sterilization, just add vinegar and boil it well.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop cucumbers, dill, peeled onion, garlic and bell pepper.
Mix everything in a large saucepan, add butter, sugar, salt and pepper mixture. Cover with a lid and set aside for 1 hour.
Put the pan on low heat and cook for 15 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, mix gently and remove from the heat after 1 minute.
Arrange the salad in clean, dry jars and roll up.
