Pickled mushrooms have always been the center of attention on the festive table. I propose to prepare forest mushrooms for the winter according to this proven simple recipe. The marinade is classic, versatile - suitable for pickling absolutely any edible mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • Mushrooms (any) – 2 kg
  • Water - 1 l
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.
  • Allspice - 5 tsp.
  • Black Pepper - 5 tsp.
  • Vinegar (9%) – 2 art.l.
  • Sugar - 2 art.l.
  • Salt - 2 tbsp.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Go through the mushrooms, clean them from sand and forest debris, rinse under running water, then boil for 15 minutes, rinse again and discard in a colander.

Prepare the marinade: combine water, salt, sugar, peeled garlic and spices, bring to a boil and boil over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Put the boiled mushrooms in the boiling marinade, boil for 15 minutes, removing the foam.

Add vinegar, stir and boil for another 5 minutes.

Put the boiling mushrooms in pre-sterilized jars, pour the marinade to the top. Seal the jars tightly, turn them upside down and leave them to cool completely. Store the cooled pickled mushrooms in a cool dark place.
