Plum is perfectly combined with almost any spices, and today I propose to make sure of this by the example of such plum jam. To begin with, add cinnamon and some more aromatic spices. And if you are not afraid of experiments – take another pinch of hot pepper.
Ingredients
- Plums - 2 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Ground cinnamon - 2 tbsp.l .
- Star anise (ground) – 1 tsp.
- Honey - 3 art.l.
- Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the plum, cover with sugar and boil for half an hour on low heat, stirring.
Rub the jam through a sieve, add spices and honey, and cook for another 10 minutes.
Add lemon juice, and roll the jam into sterile jars.
