Do you observe the fast? Then the recipe for a lean hodgepodge with mushrooms is just for you! It is prepared, of course, without sausage, sausages or meat — only vegetables and vegetable oil. The taste of the soup is simply amazing! I'm sure such a hodgepodge will often be on your table.
Ingredients
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Forest mushrooms - 50 g
- Cucumbers (pickled) – 3 pieces
- Carrots (average) – 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Tomato paste - 3 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 40 ml
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Black Pepper - 3 peas
- Salt - to taste
- Lemon (for submission) – half
- Water - 2,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop mushrooms, onions, potatoes, cucumbers and lemon. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.
Add the mushrooms, carrots and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
Add tomato paste, 200 ml of water, bay leaf and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
Pour the roast, potatoes and cucumbers into boiling water. Boil the hodgepodge for another 10 minutes.
At the end, add salt and turn off. Insist the finished dish under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
When serving, add a slice of lemon to each plate.
