Treat yourself to an unusual snack — prepare a pate of chum liver! This can easily be done at home. The liver should be pre-boiled, and then, together with fried onions and spices, crushed in a blender.
Ingredients
- Liver (chum) – 600 g
- Shallots - 100 g
- Butter - 50 g
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground coriander - 0,5 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the liver of chum salmon and put it in a saucepan.
Add water, bay leaf and cook for 15 minutes.
Put the liver on a plate and put it aside to cool.
Peel and finely chop the shallots.
Put on a preheated frying pan with oil and fry until transparent.
Put the boiled liver, roast, salt, coriander and black pepper in the blender bowl. Grind until smooth.
