When you want to try something original and unusual, and we are still talking about preparations for the winter - try this quince compote. It is a bit like apple, but in general the taste is noticeably different and definitely deserves attention.
Ingredients
- Quince - 400 g
- Sugar - 200 g
- Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash and randomly slice the quince, put it in sterile jars.
Pour boiling water, cover with lids and leave for 15 minutes.
Drain this water, add sugar to it and boil it again.
Add citric acid to the quince, pour the syrup and roll it up.
