At the end of August, the chokeberry begins to ripen. Many are looking forward to this period in order to prepare useful preparations from it for the winter. Among other things, you can cook juice from blackberries. I tell you how I do it.
Ingredients
- Chokeberry - 2 kg
- Sugar - 500 g
- Citric acid - on the tip of the knife
- Water - 3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pick up the chernoplodka and rinse it under running water.
Fill the berries with cold water, boil for 3 minutes and turn off the heat.
Cover with a lid and leave for a day. During this time, the berries will give all the juice to the broth.
Strain the broth through a double layer of gauze.
Add sugar, citric acid and boil for 5 minutes.
Pour the hot juice into sterilized jars and roll up.
