I love culinary experiments, so when I came across a recipe for cucumber jam, I tried it without hesitation. At first glance, it seems unreal, but everything is very simple. Four ingredients, about half an hour of free time and the dish is ready.

Ingredients

  • Cucumbers - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 1,5 kg
  • Citric acid - on the tip of the knife
  • Water - 250 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel cucumbers and cut into cubes.

Boil water, add sugar and boil for 5-7 minutes.

Add cucumbers, turn off the heat and insist under the lid for 1.5 hours.

Bring the mass to a boil again, add citric acid and boil for 5 minutes.

Put the jam in the prepared jars, roll up and leave for a day in a warm place.
