If you don't have time to cook lunch at all, cook this very quick soup with dumplings. This is a real lifesaver on busy days. For flavor and color, I add a little turmeric fried in butter to the soup.
Ingredients
For soup:
- Butter - 50 g
- Turmeric - 0,5 tsp.
- Black Pepper - 2 peas
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken broth - 1,5 l
For dumplings:
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Flour - 4 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 120 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Melt butter in a frying pan, add turmeric and fry for 2 minutes.
Sift flour into a separate bowl, add egg, ground black pepper and salt.
Pour in warm water and mix well until smooth.
Boil the chicken broth, add black pepper peas, fried butter and turmeric.
With a dessert spoon, type the dough and lower it into the boiling soup. Cook everything together for 7 minutes.
Add salt, turn off and insist under the lid for 10 minutes.
