This is one of the fastest borscht recipes in my arsenal. I advise you to use ready-made broth, so as not to waste an hour on it too. And then it's just a matter of cooking vegetables. And then, thanks to sauerkraut, it will take less time.
Ingredients
- Chicken broth - 2 l
- Potatoes - 300 g
- Cabbage - 200 g
- Sauerkraut - 200 g
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
- Beetroot - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Bring the broth to a boil and add chopped potatoes and fresh cabbage to it.
Grate carrots and beets, chop onions and fry together for 5-7 minutes.
Add tomatoes. And after 2 minutes, squeeze the sauerkraut and add it.
Fry the vegetables a little more, send them to the broth, add spices and cook the borscht until the ingredients are ready.
