Will we make homemade jam from pears with the addition of cinnamon? Use it as a filling in baking - the household will definitely not resist such a treat. A thick, rich, fragrant jam made of pears will be most welcome for winter family tea parties.
Ingredients
- Pear - 1,5 kg
- Sugar - 500 g
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the pears, peel, seeds and cores, cut into small cubes.
Put the pears in a bowl, cover with sugar. Shake the bowl so that the sugar is evenly distributed, and leave for 30 minutes to form juice.
Place the workpiece in a saucepan and bring to a boil over low heat. Then reduce the heat and boil for 25-30 minutes, stirring and removing the foam.
Cool the fruit mass slightly and beat it with a blender until smooth.
Add cinnamon and lemon juice, mix again with a blender.
Put the workpiece on the fire, bring it to a boil again, and then boil the jam over low heat for 10 minutes.
Pour hot pear jam into sterile jars, seal tightly, turn upside down, wrap and leave for a day until completely cooled. Transfer the cooled jam to a cool, dark place for storage.
