If you like classic pea soups, be sure to try this recipe with smoked sausage and vegetables. It turns out very tasty and harmonious, especially if you add spices and herbs to taste.
Ingredients
- Peas - 1 glass
- Water - 2.5 l
- Potatoes - 3-4 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Smoked sausage - 300 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the peas with water for a couple of hours and rinse.
Fill it with clean water and cook for about an hour on low heat.
Cut the potatoes into cubes, chop the onion and grate the carrots. Separately slice the smoked sausage.
When the peas start to boil, add the potatoes and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Fry the onion and carrot, add the sausage and fry for a couple more minutes. Put it all in the soup.
Cook the pea soup for another 10 minutes, season and remove from heat.
