Any apples are suitable for this recipe. Clean them from damage, grind them in any convenient way and get to work. Thick apple jam with sugar is prepared without sterilization. It is enough just to boil it over low heat to the desired density.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 3 kg
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Water - 250 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Prepare the apples, peel them from the seeds and peel.

Pass the fruit through a meat grinder or chop it in a blender.

Add sugar, stir and set aside for 40-60 minutes.

Pour in water and simmer for 45 minutes. Stir the mass periodically, otherwise it will burn.

Put the hot jam in the prepared jars and roll it up.
