Ingredients
- Quince - 1 kg
- Sugar - 800 g
- Water - 500 ml
- Citric acid - 2 pinches
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the quince into slices.
Boil the water, dip the quince into it and boil for 7-8 minutes.
Put the quince in a bowl to dry, and add sugar to the broth and bring it to a boil again.
Boil the syrup until smooth and add citric acid.
Put back the quince slices, bring to a boil again and boil for 15 minutes on low heat.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
