Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 2 kg
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Vegetable oil (odorless) – 80 ml
- Apple cider vinegar - 60 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Sugar - 3 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 1,5 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut tomatoes and peeled onions into large pieces.
Put in a bowl of a slow cooker, sprinkle with sugar and leave for 30 minutes.
Close the lid and turn on the "Extinguishing" program for 20 minutes.
Rub the soft vegetables through a sieve to get rid of the peel and seeds.
Mix the resulting mass with salt, ground pepper and oil.
Return the mass to the bowl of the slow cooker and activate the "Baking" mode for 1 hour.
Two minutes before the end, pour in the vinegar and mix well.
After the beep, spread the hot ketchup into jars and roll it up.
