Did you grow string beans in the country or did you buy them at a bargain price? You definitely need to stock up on it for the winter. A great option would be lecho from string beans. The recipe does not differ much from the standard one, but there are still several important differences.
Ingredients
- String beans - 500 g
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 500 g
- Onion - 200 g
- Vinegar - 60 ml
- Vegetable oil - 40 ml
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Coriander (in grains) – 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 1,5 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the string beans and peeled onions.
Tomatoes and peeled bell peppers pass through a meat grinder.
Pour the mass of tomatoes and pepper into a saucepan. Add sugar, salt, spices and boil for 15 minutes.
Separately fry the string beans in oil for 8-10 minutes.
Pour the onion and fried beans into the pan. Cover with a lid and simmer all together for 30 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, remove from the heat and close in the prepared jars.
