Lingonberry is an incredibly healthy and incredibly delicious berry. But there are two problems – it does not grow everywhere, and its season is not so long. Part of these problems are solved by conservation and harvesting. Therefore, today I will share my favorite recipe for thick jam.
Ingredients
- Lingonberries - 2 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Lemon - 0.5 pieces
- Water - 200 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cover the cranberries with sugar, pour in water and cook, stirring, over low heat for about 35-40 minutes.
Add lemon juice and boil the jam for a couple more minutes.
Roll the jam into sterile jars.
