Currant jam is a vitamin treat for children and adults. It's so easy to cook it that even a novice cook can handle it. I do not add water to such preparations, since currants themselves are quite juicy berries. I share the recipe.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Remove the currants from the twigs, rinse and dry.

Put the berries in a cooking pot, add sugar. Lightly mash the currant with a pusher so that the berries let the juice.

Bring the workpiece to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and boil, stirring frequently and removing the foam, for half an hour.

Cool the finished jam a little and pour it into pre-sterilized jars. Seal the jars tightly, turn them upside down and leave them to cool completely.
