Canned peach compote has been well known to many since childhood. But this is not the only way to cook them for the winter. Today I propose to make them slices and with a full set of aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- Peaches - 15-20 pieces
- Water - 1 l
- Sugar - 250 g
- Star anise - 1 handful
- Carnation - 1 art.l.
- Cinnamon - 4 sticks
- Allspice (peas) – 2 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the peaches into slices and put them in jars with all the spices.
Boil water with sugar, boil for 5 minutes and pour over the peaches.
Put the jars in a pot of water and sterilize for about 15 minutes over medium heat.
Roll up the peaches.
